Chess in Fortran

A two-player chess game written in Fortran that works through a shared folder, so it can be played remotely. It doesn't enforce move or turn rules. Instead it offers a free board to move the pieces around. It is easy to compile and run, and lets you start a game, load an existing one or make moves.

Penalties in Fortran

A penalty shoot-out game in Fortran against a goalkeeper drawn in ASCII art. You enter your player's name and shirt number, pick a direction (left, centre or right) and try to beat a goalkeeper who moves at random. The ASCII drawing may look misaligned depending on your console settings.

Fortran quiz

An interactive console program, written in Fortran, that tests what you know about the language with a series of questions and works out your score at the end. It compiles with GNU Fortran and is open to contributions, whether code improvements, new questions or documentation.
