DataWorking, private local use
Data extraction platform
Access to data on remote devices for people who don't write SQL, with visual tools and plugins.
The problem
Getting at the data in on-premises databases, and working with it, is awkward and slow for analysts and business users, because it takes SQL. Usually technical staff end up connecting to the database to prepare what others ask for, which slows everything down and leaves the people who actually use the data with little flexibility.
The solution
The platform deploys an API on the on-premises server and a web application, local or in the cloud, that connects to it and offers visual tools. Anyone can query data, filter it, add columns or preview charts without knowing SQL. It also supports plugins for specific features, such as periodic reports.
What it brings
It speeds up access to data and removes the dependency on technical staff to extract it. It makes analysis and visualisation easier, so trends, patterns and anomalies are easier to spot and decisions can be based on data. And because it grows through plugins, it adapts to what each case needs.
